 Cancer Risk Information
underline 1986 USEPA Cancer Risk Category:  Group A-Human Carcinogen

Interpreting Cancer Risk HTML PDF

Species and Tumor Types: Evidence from human data. An increased lung cancer mortality was observed in multiple human populations exposed primarily through inhalation. Also, increased mortality from multiple internal organ cancers (liver, kidney, lung, and bladder) and an increased incidence of skin cancer were observed in populations consuming water high in inorganic arsenic.

NOTE: Cancer risk classifications are specific to active ingredients, not products. To arrive at an overall health or cancer risk evaluation for a pesticide product, active ingredient cancer risk information should be used together with other risk and exposure information, such as USEPA Risk Management Decision Documents (REDs, IREDs, TREDs, and others).
